NSCDC Personnel in FCT Receive Basic Administrative Practice Training

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), FCT Command, recently conducted a training program for personnel of its Area D command. The training focused on basic administrative practices aimed at enhancing service efficiency and professionalism within the corps. This development was announced in a statement by the NSCDC FCT spokeswoman, Monica Ojobi, on Tuesday in Abuja.

Ms. Ojobi specified that the participants in this crucial training were divisional and senior officers drawn from the various divisions operating under the Bwari Area Command. This targeted approach ensures that leadership across these divisions is equipped with updated administrative skills.

Speaking at the conclusion of the program, the FCT Commandant, Olusola Odumosu, underscored the significance of such initiatives. He stated that the training was vital for creating a skilled, efficient, and more motivated workforce. Commandant Odumosu emphasized that the program directly supports the command’s strategic goals for increased productivity and a reduction in the turnaround time required for various tasks.

Furthermore, Odumosu highlighted that the training would equip the personnel with the essential skills necessary to perform their duties with greater effectiveness. He concluded by urging the trained officers to internalize the knowledge acquired during the sessions and to diligently apply these learnings in their daily responsibilities, thereby striving to become the best version of themselves in service.
