NNPC to shut down Port Harcourt Refinery for maintenance - Businessday NG
Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) is set to shut down the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) for maintenance.
The scheduled maintenance and sustainability assessment is expected to commence today May 24, 2025.

Olufemi Soneye, chief communication officer, NNPC Ltd, who confirmed this in a statement said: “We are working closely with all relevant stakeholders, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to ensure the maintenance and assessment activities are carried out efficiently and transparently,”
He assured that the NNPC Ltd remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering sustainable energy security for Nigeria.
