Nigerian Pastor Deported From South Africa Over Rape Allegation
Nigerian televangelist, identified as Pastor Timothy Omotoso, is set to be deported from South Africa.
INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that the development is coming after he voluntarily chose to leave the country amid his re-arrest over alleged raping of young women from his church.
Several young women had accused the cleric of luring them into his home in Umhlanga, a town in South Africa, where he allegedly molested them.

Pastor Timothy was last month found not guilty on 32 charges, including rape, sexual exploitation and human trafficking after spending eight years in jail.
Irma Schoeman, the trial judge, ruled that the state prosecutor did not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.
Schoeman held that the prosecutor failed to properly cross-examine the accused, adding that it was as if cross-examination never even took place.
The 66-year-old pastor was to leave from Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport for his native Nigeria on Sunday.
He heads the Jesus Dominion International (JDI) church, headquartered at the eastern South African coastal city of Durban.
