Nick Mudimba: Former KTN News Anchor Dies, Kenyans Mourn Him
The Kenyan media fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of Nick Mudimba, a seasoned journalist formerly associated with KTN News and CGTN Africa.

Mudimba reportedly collapsed at his home in Syokimau, Machakos county, on Sunday, March 23, leaving family, friends, and fans in shock.
Sources close to the family revealed that Mudimba had been unwell and had received treatment at the time of his untimely demise.
Tragically, he reportedly passed away just hours after watching the Harambee Stars match against Gabon on Sunday evening.
It's also worth mentioning that, two days before the game, he mobilised support for Harambee Stars on X, encouraging Kenyans to attend.

Mudimba's passing has left a significant void in the media industry, with colleagues and fans expressing disbelief and sadness.
His former colleague at Standard Media Group, Mike Nyagwoka, shared a heartfelt tribute on social media, capturing the fragility of life.
"If there is one fact of life that something must remind us of every day, it is its brevity. To imagine that CGTN journalist Nick Mudimba watched the Kenya vs. Gabon game and moments later he is being mourned makes me shudder. But yes, life is indeed brief. Mungu atufariji sote na sana sana familia yake," Nyagwoka posted.
Fans have expressed their sorrow, questioning the growing trend of journalists dying unexpectedly.

Mudimba's sudden death comes barely days after the loss of Fredrick Parsayo, another media personality from KBC.
The young journalist was found dead at his home in Kinoo, Kiambu county.
KBC confirmed his death, noting that authorities are investigating the circumstances around it.
While the exact cause remains unknown, his family had been informed of the tragedy, and his body was taken to St. Teresa Mortuary.
Parsayo was a University of Nairobi graduate, completing his studies in 2022 before quickly joining KBC's editorial team as a reporter.
His untimely demise has drawn condolences from fellow journalists, including Stephen Letoo, who mourned the loss and extended sympathies to Parsayo's family.
