We just can't quit those dinos. The latest adventure in the Jurassic World series stomps into theaters this week, which means parents who grew up with the 1993 classic can introduce a new chapter to their own kids.

Taking place five years after the events of the previous film, Jurassic World Dominion, we find dinosaurs are endangered again, with the few remaining ones isolated from most of the world. But when it's discovered that a few of them may hold some life-saving benefits for humankind, a mission is launched to test that theory.

If any of your kids are particularly interested in the science of the Jurassic films and wonder if bringing back dinosaurs could actually be a thing, check out this fun discussion we had on that very topic.

Little Dora from the Nickelodeon animated show isn't so little anymore. This latest film from the Dora the Explorer universe features teen Dora and her cousin Diego as they embark on an adventure to find an ancient Incan city called Sol Dorado.

Parents spoke with the film's director about some of the themes involving appreciating culture, leaving your comfort zone, and venturing out to new territories. While the stakes aren't super high, tween Dora fans and parents should have fun with this one.
