Defending champion Boston Celtics tabbed 22-year old double-passport holder Jamaican 6-9 forward Josh Minott (college: Memphis) for new season. He played most recently at Minnesota Timberwolves. In 51 NBA games he averaged just 2.4ppg last season. He helped them to make it to the conference final and Cup semifinals.
Three years ago he was drafted by Charlotte Hornets in second round (45th overall). The former University of Memphis standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
Minott was a member of Jamaican Under 17 National Team back in 2019.
He has played previously for Iowa Wolves.
Minott was voted to AAC All-Freshman Team back in 2022 at his college time.
