Chaos erupted in the Dagoretti area of Nairobi County after suspected drug dealers confronted the police and officials from the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) during an operation to weed out narcotics in the area. Police were forced to use tear gas canisters after the suspects who were resisting arrest became rowdy. One suspect was, however, arrested and several stones of bhang recovered.
