A plaque has been unveiled in memory of late singer, who died in a fall from his hotel balcony in Argentina in October 2024. The official social platform X account for Clevedon Pier in Somerset — where One Direction filmed the video for the song "You & I" — posted a photo of the plaque. It reads, "Remembering Liam Payne — One Direction," along with his birth and death dates. It also quotes the lyrics of the 1D song "Walking in the Wind," which the Pier's post says was one of Liam's favorites: "If you're lost, just look for me/ You'll find me in the region of the summer stars."
