Megan Moroney's Festival Look
Megan Moroney delivered a memorable performance at the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One on Saturday, May 3rd. Taking place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, Moroney's set was filled with some of her most beloved hits. Her outfit choice, a red crop top and skirt adorned with silver hearts, paired with white cowboy boots, seemed inspired by the event itself.
Moroney's three-song set commenced with "Am I Okay?" accompanied by a backdrop featuring a heartbeat. She engaged with the audience as they enthusiastically sang along. Transitioning to "No Caller ID," she played a sparkling acoustic guitar against a backdrop of a sunset cityscape, encouraging the crowd to sing along to the "therapeutic" song about ignoring an ex's persistent calls.
She concluded her iHeartCountry Fest performance with her breakout single "Tennessee Orange" from her 2023 album, Lucky. Referencing the lyric "I've always looked better in red," she playfully highlighted her red outfit, emphasizing her Georgia roots despite living in Tennessee.
In a recent interview with Glamour, Moroney discussed her rapid success. She mentioned that when she moved to Nashville in 2020 to pursue music, many didn't take her seriously because she was also working as an influencer. However, she found that influencing allowed her to focus on songwriting.
The reigning Country Music Association New Artist of the Year launched her headlining "AM I OKAY? Tour" in March, featuring opening acts such as Charlie Worsham, Chase Matthew, Danielle Bradbery, Emily Ann Roberts, Emmy Russell, Ian Harrison, Kasey Tyndall, Mackenzie Carpenter, Maggie Antone, Patrick Droney, Sadie McLayne, Solon Holt, Tommy Acker and Vincent Mason on select dates.
Hosted by iHeartRadio's Bobby Bones, the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival featured a lineup of country music stars, including Brooks & Dunn, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts, Cole Swindell, Sam Hunt, Megan Moroney, Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith, and special guest Dasha.
