In the early hours of the morning, around 1 a.m., disaster struck when the river near Kiboroloni broke its banks following heavy rains, sending a torrent of water crashing into homes.

Panic spread through the community as floodwaters quickly engulfed houses, leaving residents scrambling for safety.

Amid the chaos, Mosha received a distress call that a father and his children were trapped. Without hesitation, he leapt into action.

"Everyone else was scared to wade through the water because it was too high," he recounted. "But I braved it and crossed through."
