LeBron James' Son Doesn't Hesitate When Naming the Greatest Basketball Player
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James' youngest son, Bryce James, is committed to the Arizona Wildcats to begin his collegiate basketball career.
Bryce James spent his freshman and sophomore years at Sierra Canyon High School, where he played alongside his older brother, Bronny James.
Bryce James transferred to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, ahead of his junior season. However, he ultimately returned to Sierra Canyon later that year, where he went on to finish his high school career.
In his senior year, James and Sierra Canyon won the 2025 CIF State Division 1 title, with his father in attendance.
On Friday, the Arizona men's basketball Instagram account posted a "Get to know" segment featuring the incoming 6-foot-6 freshman.
Bryce shared some of his personal favorites. His favorite NBA team is the Los Angeles Lakers, and his favorite quote is, “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”
When asked who his favorite player is and who he considers the greatest of all time, Bryce responded to both questions without hesitation: “LeBron.”
His answer came as no surprise, having watched his father achieve milestones in basketball that few players have ever accomplished before.
James also mentioned that his favorite basketball memory was winning the 2025 state championship with his alma mater, Sierra Canyon.
With his high school career now complete, Bryce James turns his focus to the next chapter at Arizona. The Wildcats will open the 2025-26 season on Nov. 3 in Las Vegas, facing the reigning champion Florida Gators as part of the Hall of Fame Series.
