A child’s birthday party is typically expected to be fun and free from chaos. However, this was not the case for a family in the Kahawa Wendani area of Kiambu county.

What was meant to be a joyful birthday celebration turned into chaos after a bizarre incident left guests in shock.

A woman who had been invited to her friend’s child’s birthday party allegedly turned on her host during the celebrations and bit her while the party was still ongoing.

A video shared on Facebook shows the two women arguing, as several other guests try to intervene and get the now-intoxicated woman onto a motorcycle to take her back home.

The host claimed that the guest bit various parts of her body after getting drunk.

“Look at how you bit me. I invited you to my child’s birthday party, bought you alcohol, and this is how you repay me. You’ve embarrassed me,” she said.

She also got into an argument with another colleague, promising to fight her the next time they meet at the salon where they both work.

Another person even threw punches, as boda boda riders at the scene tried to mediate and separate the fighting individuals.

The reason for the sudden aggression remains unclear, but the party came to a halt until the intoxicated woman was taken away.

Previously, reported that a woman was overwhelmed with joy after her friends organised a surprise birthday party for her at an exotic restaurant.

Doreen Atsianji said her initial plan had been to spend her special day giving back to the community, only for her friends to honour her in a special way instead.

Atsianji added that despite the change of plans, she would still make it up by visiting her home village of Shamakhokho after schools reopened.
