Director Khalid Rahman shared his memorable experience working with Malayalam superstar Mammootty on the 2019 film 'Unda'. Khalid described Mammootty as a respectful and humble individual who always made sure to put everyone at ease on set.
During an interview with Galatta Plus the 34-year-old director shared that despite being the only senior member among a predominantly young cast and crew, the veteran star never let his stature intimidate others. Instead, he would often adjust to their level and not let any feel intimidated by him.
He said, "Mammukka is a very great guy; he’s always respectful towards us. Mammootty sir was actually trapped in Unda because everyone around him, including actors and technicians, was under the age of 30. He always looked like a poor fellow because he’s the only one who is an elder there."
