Kangana Ranaut Expresses Admiration for Her Younger Self in Old Interview

Actor Kangana Ranaut recently experienced a moment of self-admiration, describing it as a "fangirl" moment, while re-watching an old interview she had with veteran host Simi Garewal. The clip, originally shared by a fan account named Queen Kangana Ranaut, was reposted by Kangana on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by an admiring note about her younger self.
During the interview, Simi Garewal posed a thought-provoking question to Kangana: "Suppose all these go away, what happens then?" Kangana's confident and insightful response was, "How can it go away? If you are talking about time, times will change, and things will change. But what is in me and what I’ve lived, how can anybody take that away from me?" This exchange highlighted her strong belief in her inner resilience and experiences as unalterable assets.
The conversation further delved into the nature of Bollywood, with Simi stating, "Bollywood is not a secure place even for the topmost." Kangana candidly replied, expressing her long-term aspirations beyond acting: "I myself don’t want to be in Bollywood all my life. That would be ridiculous." When pressed on her future desires, she articulated a profound wish for personal growth, emphasizing her fear of stagnation: "For me, if I get stuck in time, the worst thing that can happen to me in life is I get stuck in time. I want to grow as a person, as an individual. Today, I’m acting in movies, tomorrow I would want to do something else."
The fan-edited video resonated with Kangana's current career trajectory, featuring a caption that read, "Kangana had already said that she will do something else and she did it. I think people should now accept that she is no longer just an actress or a filmmaker but also a politician." Reposting this, Kangana wrote, "Honestly, if I find a young woman as cool as this, I would be a fan."
