Jennifer Affleck from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is now a mom of three. She and her husband Zac announced on social media on July 2, 2025, that they are the proud parents of a baby girl named Penelope Phyliss.
"Baby Penelope is here & she is perfect," Affleck captioned the post. "Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life. I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earth side now."
Baby Penelope joins big sister Nora, 3, and big brother Luca, 23 months.
Among those congratulating Affleck on Instagram are her Mormon Wives co-stars, and fellow moms-to-be Mayci Neeley and Mikayla Matthews.
"I love her already," writes Neeley. "Can’t wait for all our girls to be besties."
"Penelope, you’re amazing, can’t wait for our sweet girls to meet," adds Matthews.
Documenting her pregnancy both on the show and online, Affleck posted about going into labor while at the nail salon. Then, a few days later, came the post announcing Penelope's arrival.
Here are all of the details about Baby Penelope's sweet name.
Phyliss
In a heartfelt post, seemingly around the time Affleck gave birth, she reflected on her third pregnancy. She called it one she'll "never forget." She said the pregnancy started around the time she also had to say goodbye to her grandmother. That brought about the realization that she needed change.
"Change for myself, my marriage, and life in general. The coming months were filled with ups and downs," Affleck writes.
She continues, "This journey taught me that it’s okay to not be okay and, more importantly, that it’s okay to ask for help. As mothers, we pour so much into others that we forget to care for ourselves, but you can’t pour from an empty cup."
Very important words for everyone, not just mothers, parents, or caregivers.
