Jeff Bezos and his fiance Lauren Sanchez are down in Monte Carlo for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monacco this weekend. The couple was spotted hand-in-hand on Sunday headed to watch the race.
Sanchez, who has been working with stylist Kristina Askerova, wore a black semi-sheer maxi dress. The look included spaghetti straps and a scoop neckline. The dress included a gathered section around the waist and thighs. She also wore aviator glasses. Askerova styles talent like Brooks Nader.
Bezos wore a blue polo and white trousers. He matched Sanchez with his own aviator frames.
Bezos also wore a pair of Clae Salazar sneakers. The upper is blue and white, and made of suede, leather and recycled mesh. It all sits on a Vibram outsole. The premium lifestyle runners retail for $220.
Clae was founded in 2001 and is based in Los Angeles. The company has become known for its minimalist unisex shoes. The brand utilizes both vegan materials and recycled materials amongst other sustainable methods.
Sanchez was at the amfAR Gala just days ago during Cannes Film Festival. She wore a shimmering blue and silver Roberto Cavalli couture gown by Fausto Puglisi. It featured a sweetheart neckline. She had previously put her in a black strapless dress from Dolce & Gabbana for the Global Gift Gala.
Since the 1950 British Grand Prix, fashion has been intertwined with Formula 1 history. This year, Assouline released “Formula 1: The Impossible Collection, 2nd Edition” to celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary. The luxury coffee table book compiles 100 once-in-a-lifetime moments. The relationship between fashion and the sport has skyrocketed in the last few years. Notable brands getting in on the sport include Tommy Hilfiger, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Puma.
