'It's toxic!' - Bullgod slams Vida Adutwumaa over congratulatory post to King Promise
Artiste manager and entertainment pundit Bullgod has voiced his disapproval of a congratulatory message made by Vida Adutwumwaa, the Public Relations Officer for Stonebwoy's Burniton Music Group, following the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
Adutwumwaa's congratulatory message to King Promise, which read, “Congratulations King Promise, stay consistent. At least we've shown how it's done," sparked controversy among fans and industry stakeholders.
In a submission on United Showbiz on UTV, Bullgod, cited his experience, stating that it would be disrespectful to downplay the efforts of fellow artistes.
“We never disrespected Stonebwoy throughout the campaign. Why? Because we know what it takes to put out a record. So we cannot step on anybody’s toes or just say anything to belittle them.
“You can only say what you see or say what you believe will happen. But no insults,” he said.
He further criticized the tone of Adutwumwaa's message, stating it could foster unnecessary tension between Stonebwoy and King Promise.
“So when you make a post stating, ‘We have shown you the way.’ That is what I have a problem with.
“It’s not good. It's toxic. And you are creating enmity between the two artistes,” he added.
He called on Stonebwoy to address such issues within his team to prevent misinterpretations of his character.
This incident follows previous speculations about a rift between Stonebwoy and King Promise, particularly after Stonebwoy did not respond to King Promise's congratulatory message following the 2024 TGMA.
Stonebwoy later clarified that the oversight was unintentional and that there was no bad blood between them.
