It's a great place to be - Semenyo reacts to Bournemouth contract extension
Black Stars forward, Antoine Semenyo, says he feels at home at AFC Bournemouth after signing a new long-term deal that will keep him at the club until 2030.
The 25-year-old joined the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023 and has since developed into a key player for manager Andoni Iraola’s side.
Semenyo played an instrumental role in Bournemouth’s record-breaking 2024/25 Premier League campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists as the club secured a ninth-place finish, equaling their best-ever league standing and setting a new points record of 56.
“I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch,” he said.
“From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back and continue the hard work,” Semenyo added after penning the new contract.
Semenyo has made 89 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 22 goals and providing 10 assists.
He is set to return to pre-season training in the coming week ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
