Major General Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has stated that Iran’s adversaries are repeatedly forced to retreat from their positions due to their inability to undermine the Iranian nation’s faith.
According to IRNA, speaking at a ceremony in Urmia, to honor Iranian war veterans on Sunday, Salami emphasized that external pressures have consistently failed to weaken the people's deeply rooted religious convictions.
He noted that Iran is currently engaged in a broad defensive campaign, facing challenges across political, economic, and military fronts. Despite this, the country maintains stability, ensuring security and the continued functioning of all its institutions.
“We are in a full-scale war, with every battlefront active. Yet, Iran remains secure, and all branches of the system are operating normally, which is a testament to our strength,” he said.
Salami further asserted that, under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian people persist in resisting external hostilities, overcoming increasing political pressure from adversaries.
