Christine Lynette "Chris" Patrick of Miami, OK passed from this life Friday, May 2, 2025 at her home. She was 69.
Chris was born March 24, 1956 in Tulsa, OK. She was a 1974 graduate of Commerce, High School and a lifelong Ottawa County resident.
Chris had worked as a cook for Commerce Public Schools, managed various restaurants and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cardin Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack James Patrick, her parents Eva Ann and Jim Rice, her brother, Scott Glover, and her stepbrothers, Mark Rice and James Rice.
Chris is survived by 1 son, Jack Jason Patrick and his wife Andrea of Miami, OK, 1 daughter, Deana Lynn Buckner and her husband Don of Miami, OK, a nephew she considered as her own, Jordan Glover and his wife Sha of Carthage, MO, 2 brothers, Steve Glover of Joplin, MO and Jerry Glover of Pittsburg, KS, 1 sister, Kym Wright of Joplin, MO, 2 step-brothers, David Rice of Minnesota and Adam Rice of Kansas City, KS, 1 step-sister, Connie Rice of Joplin, MO, 3 grandchildren, Cooper Buckner, Jace Patrick and Reagan Buckner and nephews and nieces she considered as her grandchildren, Addisyn Glover, Jaelynn Glover, Eleanor Terry and Henry Terry.
Memorial services will be 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK with Rev. John McEuen officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
