Influencer mum-of-four Jennifer Wrynne announces she has cancer
Milliner and influencer Jennifer Wrynne has made the ‘heartbreaking’ announcement that she has been diagnosed with cancer.
Milliner Jennifer Wrynne has announced that she has cancer, just three months after welcoming her fourth child under four, Amelia Rose.
Wrynne, who also shares children: Alex, four, twins Isabella and Amber, two, with husband Colm, revealed that despite her terrifying diagnosis, she is ‘grateful it was caught early.’

The 36-year-old shared the ‘heartbreaking’ news with followers with a video of herself and her kids on social media, writing: ‘Breast cancer. A journey I never imagined I’d be going on… but I’m soaking up every cuddle before it begins.
‘The past few days have been a complete blur. Everything has happened so quickly — and I’m heartbroken to share that I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer.’
‘I’m nervous, scared, and overwhelmed… but more than anything, I’m grateful. Grateful that I found the lump. Grateful it was caught early. Grateful to Nurse Edel in my local GP who acted so quickly. Grateful that it’s treatable.’
‘Grateful for the incredible care I’ve received already. And most of all- grateful it’s me and not one of my children, family, or friends. My first step is surgery this week, followed by treatment in the weeks ahead. It won’t be easy but I’m feeling strong and positive.’
‘I’ll keep you updated as I go, but in the meantime, please do me one small favour: check your breasts. I’m embarrassed to admit that, at 36 years old, I had never checked mine.’
‘I only found the lump by complete accident in the shower. I was so lucky. Early detection really does save lives,’ she concluded.

Jennifer’s announcement received an outpouring of support from fellow influencers who sympathised with her situation and wished her the best of luck ahead of her first surgery.
Primetime’s Miriam O’Callaghan penned: ‘ So sorry to hear this, Jennifer, but so happy also to hear you caught it early. You’re of course now going to overcome it and emerge even stronger from it than ever before. Sending you so much love and luck xxx’
2FM star Doireann Garrihy wrote: ‘Sending you so much love Jennifer,’ and Skin Nerd Jennifer Rock commented: ‘Jennifer I’m so truly sorry to read this. I’m sorry for all the worry you’re now living as your every single minute. Sending love and strength and wish there we more we could do than that. Much love x’
Wishing you all the best on your breast cancer journey, Jennifer.
