Indiana signee Trent Sisley voices support for Darian DeVries hire
Indiana men’s basketball 2025 signee Trent Sisley voiced his support for the program’s hire of Darian DeVries as head coach in a short post on Twitter.
Sisley was recruited by Mike Woodson and originally committed to and signed with the program when the latter was head coach. He elected to remain signed with the Hoosiers with Woodson announced his retirement pending a coaching hire.
A statement of support like the one linked above is a positive sign that Sisley will join DeVries first Indiana roster in the 2025-26 season as a true freshman.
Sisley originally starred at Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City, Indiana, before transferring to renowned basketball powerhouse Montverde Academy in Florida. He remained productive as a versatile forward against some of the top players in the country.
Harun Zrno, Indiana’s other commitment in the class of 2025, has yet to comment publicly on DeVries’ hire but has remained committed during the coaching search.
