Petrolina AEK Larnaca (OPAP BL) landed 24-year old American 203cm forward Chris Payton (college: Kent State). He started the season at PVSK-Veolia in Hungarian A Division. In 15 games he averaged impressive 15.7ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.9apg, 1.3spg and 1.2bpg.
He played in the final of MAC Tournament in 2024.
Payton graduated from Kent State in 2024 and it is his first season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: University of Pittsburgh, Indian Hills Community College, Southern Illinois University.
