One cup moong dal, one-fourth cup water, three tbsp rice flour, two green chilli, one inch ginger, two tbsp onion, two tbsp coriander, one tsp jeera/cumin, half tsp salt, one-fourth tsp baking soda, oil.

Moong Dal should be soaked in a bowl with one cup of water for four hours. Grind to a smooth paste using one-fourth cup of water.

After that, you have to mix the batter with rice flour, green chilli, ginger, onion, coriander, jeera, salt, and baking soda.

Wet the hands and drop the batter into medium-hot oil and fry till golden brown. Stirring occasionally for even cooking.

Remove the pakoras and drain them on a kitchen towel. Now, you can serve hot with coconut chutney or tangy tomato sauce.
