This paper presents findings from an exploratory research conducted on the online public discourse relating to digital platform work and the key takeaways derived from them. A comprehensive analysis was conducted on data collected over a six-month period from social networks, news and institutional websites, blogs, and forums. This included the examination of both English language and Italian content. As a result of this investigation, prime concerns of a variety of stakeholders were identified, pointing at the knowledge and policy gaps related to occupational safety and health.
