'High Potential' Season 2: Projected Cast List & What We Know!

As you’re watching the season one finale tonight, you might be interested to know that High Potential is renewed for a second season!
As of right now, we’re expecting a lot of the cast will return for season two. Keep reading to find out more… ABC has not confirmed the cast list at this time, but we’d all but guarantee that Kaitlin Olson and Daniel Sunjata will for sure be back. Amirah J also confirmed she will return as Ava, which means we’d imagine Matthew Lamb will also be back as Elliot. Amirah shared with ABC about season 2, “I’m really excited just to kind of see more about her upbringing and kind of what her life was like when it was just her and Morgan for those few years before her siblings came, and just really see how that has kind of shaped her into who she is now.” She also shared that season 1 ends on a cliffhanger, so season 2 will likely address said cliffhanger!
She shared, “They’ll have some hints about Ava’s father in the finale, which I think will be very fun, but obviously we kind of have to leave you guys on a cliffhanger a little bit.
We can’t spoil too much.” High Potential follows a single mom (Olson) with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Sunjata).
