Mumbai: IMD issued a yellow alert, indicating heavy rain, for isolated locations in Mumbai and Thane on Thursday, and an orange alert, signalling heavy to very heavy rainfall, for Raigad district.

Mumbai is expected to see moderate rain on June 20-21 and heavy showers on June 22. IMD's Colaba and Santacruz observatories recorded 331mm and 317mm of rainfall, respectively, on Wednesday. tnn
