AJ Lee was one of the top reigning female WWE superstars at the time, but the women's division did not get significant opportunities. In that time, AJ Lee was garnering a lot of attention from the fans for her amazing ability in the ring and captivating persona.

Kane has always been known to be one of the dominant and scariest WWE superstars of all time. After a brief stare, Lee planted a huge kiss on Kane in a shocking moment on RAW. Lee continued to tempt Kane towards her side in the next few weeks, and he also reciprocated once in a backstage segment with a kiss to AJ before his match at WWE No Way Out 2012.

Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee became an onscreen couple that was very much in love around the early 2010s. However, after AJ Lee's good luck kiss caused Bryan to lose the World title to Sheamus at WrestleMania 28, tensions rose between them. In a rocky relationship, the duo still shared romantic moments and even planned to have marriage on the 1000th episode of RAW. CM Punk got involved in the turmoil between AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan's relationship during his feud with the Yes Man in 2012. At the 2013 WWE TLC pay-per-view, Cena battled Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match for his Money in the Bank briefcase. Just as Cena was closing on the victory, AJ Lee pushed him off the ladder and sided with Dolph Ziggler. This led to their relationship blossoming, with Big E as their wall of protection and sharing a lot of romantic moments on WWE live television.
