Actor is ready to return to Hogwarts for the series adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s .

While Fiennes-Tiffin is primarily known for his starring role in the After film series, one of his earliest screen roles was as a young Tom Riddle in 2009’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Fiennes-Tiffin is the nephew of Ralph Fiennes, the actor who portrayed Tom Riddle’s adult persona, Lord Voldemort, in the final five Harry Potter movies.

With only one Harry Potter appearance in his filmography, Fiennes-Tiffin is ready to see that number grow, telling Us Weekly at the premiere of his new movie Picture This that he “would 100 percent be open to coming back as any character in the HBO Harry Potter series.” He then shared that all HBO had to do was call him, making the “call me” gesture with his hand.

However, Fiennes-Tiffin isn’t interested in returning to Hogwarts as any old character. The actor specified that he would like to return as Tom Riddle and that if that role was unavailable, it would need to be as someone who was sorted into Slytherin.

“I don’t think I could be anyone else,” he explained. “I’m not just Team Tom Riddle, I’m Team Slytherin as well. So if it is anyone else, I think it’s gotta be Team Slytherin. I’ve picked my name out of the hat, and I’m Slytherin ‘till I die.”

Announced in April 2023, the first season of the Harry Potter reboot will be based on The Sorcerer’s Stone, which was published outside the U.S. as The Philosopher’s Stone. Casting is currently underway on the series. John Lithgow has confirmed that he will be playing Professor Albus Dumbledore in the reboot, while Janet McTeer and Paapa Essiedu are reportedly in final talks to play Professors Minerva McGonagall and Severus Snape, respectively.

The Harry Potter series is targeting a late 2026 or early 2027 premiere on HBO.
