"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester to join husband Adam Brody on Season 2 of 'Nobody Wants This'

Gossip Girl alum Leighton Meester is joining Netflix’s hit series Nobody Wants This for its much-anticipated second season.
Netflix first dropped the exciting news on its official Instagram, cheekily captioning “everybody wants this!” a nod to the show’s irresistible charm.
Meester is set to play the former “middle school nemesis” of Kristen Bell’s character, Joanne, adding a fresh layer of intrigue to the series.
At the heart of the series is Noah a charismatic, “hot rabbi” portrayed by Adam Brody whose complicated romance with Joanne, a daring, sex-forward podcaster with no particular religious affiliation, captured audiences in Season 1.
Despite the obvious hurdles posed by his conservative background and traditional family values, the undeniable chemistry between Noah and Joanne kept viewers hooked.
Since its debut last year, 'Nobody Wants This' has been turning heads, not only earning three Golden Globe nods, including acting nominations for Brody and Bell but also garnering SAG Award nominations, with Bell set to host this Sunday in Los Angeles.
Although the release date for Season 2 remains under wraps, the addition of Leighton Meester and the continued evolution of the story promises an even more exciting season ahead.
