Newly promoted Hiopos Forca Lleida (Liga Endesa) landed 27-year old American 208cm power forward Demajeo Wiggins (college: BGSU, agency: Octagon Europe). He started the season at BG Goettingen in German BBL league. In 22 games he averaged 11.8ppg and 10.3rpg. The last season season he played at NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (A Division) in Hungarian league.
In 2019 he was drafted by Greensboro Swarm (G-League) in first round (14th overall).
The former Bowling Green State University standout is in his sixth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. Wiggins is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Rilski), Colombia (Storm), Estonia (Rapla), Hungary, Czech Republic (Olomoucko) and The Basketball Tournament (Fort Wayne Champs).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Honorable Mention in 2023.
