Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus (GBL) signed 27-year old American swingman Tyson Ward (198cm-86kg-1997, college: NDSU) for upcoming 2025-26 season. Ward played last season at Paris Basketball in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 38 games he had 12.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to win the league title and the cup. 2024-25 was a great season as he was named to French ProA All-Star Game, French League All-Star Game and All-Imports Team. Ward also played 38 games in Euroleague where he recorded 11.0ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.3apg. He contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals.
The previous (2024) summer he played at the Spurs in NBA. In 6 games he averaged 7.3ppg and 3.2rpg in 2024 year.
Ward has played also professionally in Germany (Telekom Baskets and s Oliver Baskets).
He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2020 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
