Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator Recalled Due to Back Seat Issues - Consumer Reports

Published 7 hours ago2 minute read

Ford Motor Company is recalling 304,662 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator SUVs because the release for the second-row seats may bind or stick, risking the seats unlatching, folding, or sliding unexpectedly when the vehicle is being driven.

The release switch for the second-row seats, meant to ease entry, may stick or bind, allowing the seat to move when the vehicle is in motion.

Dealers will inspect the second-row seat switch and replace the bezel around the switch as necessary, free of charge.
