In a statement, FKF said they have launched a probe and punishment awaits those involved.
"FKF upholds the integrity of football and has launched an official investigation in collaboration with FIFA, CAF, and other relevant authorities. We reaffirm our zero-tolerance policy on match manipulation and are committed to safeguarding the credibility of our competitions
"This investigation will adhere to FKF’s Anti-Match Manipulation Regulations and FIFA guidelines, ensuring a fair, transparent, and thorough process. The rights of the player and his club will be respected, and appropriate action will be taken based on the findings," FKF said.
Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula defended his goalkeeper, saying he is innocent until proven guilty.
In the leaked video, an unnamed and unseen man can be heard asking Matasi to concede two goals in the first half, with the goalkeeper seemingly agreeing.
TUKO.co.ke could not independently verify the video. If verified by FKF and other bodies, it will be the latest match-fixing scandal to hit Kenyan football.
In recent years, rumours about match-fixing have dominated Kenyan football. Last year, the FKF suspended a referee, team officials and a player for match-fixing.
The FKF added that they will join hands with FIFA and CAF to investigate the allegations facing Matasi.
According to FIFPro, the body that represents players worldwide, players found guilty of match-fixing risk a multi-year ban from the sport.
In some countries, match-fixing can result in criminal prosecution and a jail sentence. According to FIFA, match manipulation can be done mainly for financial gain and sporting advantage.
The Harambee Stars goalkeeper therefore faces serious punishment if he is found guilty of match-fixing.
His captain Michael Olunga was shocked to learn of the video which has gone viral online.

TUKO.co.ke earlier reported that the Kakamega Homeboyz chairman Shimanyula had spoken following match-fixing allegations against his player Matasi.
Shimanyla stood by Matasi, saying they would speak to him and ask him to stop "engaging" in such activities.
Matasi joined them in February from Kenya Premier Leaguee side Kenya Police.
