Too many cooks in the kitchen? After Netflix released the trailer for ’s upcoming cooking series With Love, Meghan, fans thought they were having déjà vu. Although the series came off as calming and delicious, some people recognized uncanny similarities between the With Love, Meghan, trailer and ’s new culinary series, Pamela’s Cooking With Love.

The former Baywatch actress’ show premiered on February 24, 2025, on Food Network Canada. Meanwhile, Meghan’s series will debut on March 4, 2025, after delaying the initial January 15, 2025, premiere in response to the tragic fires that struck Los Angeles.

Fans have been comparing the similarities between Meghan’s show with Cooking With Love on social media and In Touch is rounding up their reactions.

On January 2, 2025, one day after returning to Instagram, Meghan announced the new partnership via her deal with Netflix.

“I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it,” the former Suits actress captioned the post. “Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan.”

In the trailer, Meghan dove into all areas of the kitchen – minus the cleaning part. With the help of celebrity chefs, Meghan learned to make royal meals and shared her vision of house party decor.

The Cooking With Love trailer was released in October 2024, four months before the big premiere. The show’s setup is almost similar to Meghan’s, however, Pamela maintained her originality by having her family come over as guests who embraced her homemade meals.

Ahead of the release of Cooking With Love, Pamela opened up about the doubts she had after she landed the gig.

“I didn’t know if they would all come. I even said to my son, ‘I don’t know if people are going to want to come all the way to Vancouver Island,” Pamela gushed. “It was planes, trains and automobiles to get here. But they did and they loved it,” she told Toronto Sun on February 22, 2024.

What are the similarities between the two shows? Not only did both ladies invite cameras into their respective kitchens, but they also had the exact same setup.

Not only will celebrity chefs join Pamela in her culinary era, but the same goes for Meghan in the Netflix series.

“Never come up with a single idea on her own and the similarities between Pamela Anderson‘s cooking show and Meghan Markle‘s are just insane. It’s too obvious it screams plagiarizing, but Pamela [Anderson] has been doing this longer than [Meghan],” a fan wrote via X on February 27, 2025.

Meanwhile, YouTuber According 2taz made a YouTube video that included side-by-side clips of each trailer, while pointing out unquestionable similarities on February 24, 2025.

“I love to cook. I just always have wanted to take things to another level,” Pamela said in Cooking With Love.

“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it,” the Duchess of Sussex said in With Love, Meghan.

Fans chimed off in the comments section of the YouTube video, leading one person to write, “Omg Taz!!!! No, you’re certainly not [losing] it!!!! This is beyond bizarre. It is identical to Pamela’s intro for her cooking show. Ms. Markle, as ever … has lifted everything. The music, the vibe, the guest chefs, the kitchen, the garden, the vision, are all Pamela’s!!! Except, Pamela actually has family there, her son, her mom, real friends … etc. This woman can go no lower, is she that utterly delusional that she believes people do not have the ability to see what is in front on them? Or, at this point, does she even care? She is now purely entertainment!!!! Thank you, Taz, for presenting the ‘show.’ You’re amazing. I never miss your videos.”

In the midst of people slamming Meghan and questioning her authenticity, there were some fans who stuck up for her show and integrity.

“So, with all the cooking shows that have existed on earth for years, Meghan is the one who copies? Can you show me where it says that Pamela is the creator of cooking shows? Are you not tired with the lies and bs?” one person wrote via X on February 26, 2025.

The fan also proved that Meghan’s love for cooking runs deep by sharing an old segment of the A-lister cooking on the Today show – and also pulled up past quotes from Meghan talking about her culinary passion.

In addition, a separate fan argued that the timeline of Meghan’s release date seems to prove she didn’t copy and paste Pamela’s show.

“Wrong. Pamela’s cooking show doesn’t premiere until February. Meghan’s show was supposed to air in January, but was postponed. Meghan couldn’t have copied the show at all,” the post read.
