Celebrity MasterChef Contestants Visit Shirdi Sai Baba Temple for Special Task

In a recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef, the contestants embarked on a spiritual journey to the Sai Baba Shrine in Shirdi. This special initiative saw the celebrity cooks taking on the challenge of preparing mahabhog for devotees, blending entertainment with a touch of divine service.

The contestants were divided into two teams. Tejasswi Prakash led the first team, which included Faisal Shaikh (Faisu) and Gaurav Khanna. The second team was headed by Rajiv Adatia, alongside Nikki Tamboli, Archana Gautam, and Usha Nadkarni. Chef Ranveer Brar accompanied the contestants, setting the stage for the task.

The Task: Cooking for 500 Devotees

Chef Ranveer Brar instructed the teams to prepare dishes for 500 devotees, providing a list of items for a wholesome meal. The contestants embraced the task with a sense of ‘seva’ (service), immersing themselves in the spiritual energy of the temple. With guidance from judges Ranveer and Kunal Kapur, the teams quickly began their culinary duties.

After the cooking was completed, the contestants served the devotees, engaging in light-hearted conversations as the devotees enjoyed their meals in the pangat (community dining).

Faisu's Fan Encounter

One delightful moment occurred when a fan approached Faisu, who was distributing sweets, and inquired about his marriage plans. A visibly blushing Faisu responded, “Please don’t say such things. I am still young. Have sweets, and it will happen soon.” He later brought raita for the fan at their request, adding to the joyful atmosphere.

The fans also praised Faisu for saving Usha Nadkarni in a previous episode. Faisu humbly replied, “She is like my mother. Thank you, and I hope I get more chances to save her.”

The spiritual episode also raised questions about Usha Nadkarni’s potential return, considering her recent eviction from the show.
