Eyewitness Weather for April 4 - Snow coming next week?!

Published 1 month ago1 minute read

HERE IS YOUR EYEWITNESS WEATHER FORECAST FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 4 FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST JORDAN REED:

Rain moves in early Saturday morning, and in the higher elevations of the Adirondacks, some wet snow or a wintry mix is possible! The rain will pick up and become steady Saturday night into Sunday morning before it starts tapering off. However, the front bringing this system is expected to stall south of the New York State Thruway, meaning some rain showers could linger into Sunday night and Monday.

By Tuesday, a strong cold front will push through, bringing significantly colder-than-normal temperatures. Some areas, especially in the mountains, could even see a bit of snow. Winds will also pick up, making for a blustery and chilly day. Things should start drying out midweek, but temperatures will remain on the cooler side before warming up slightly by Thursday.
