Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game of round 27 was a derby match between two teams from Spain. Eleventh ranked Real Madrid won against visiting FC Barcelona (14-13)

96-91. Real Madrid made 29-of-37 free shots (78.4 percent) during the game, while Barca only scored twelve points from the stripe. 27 personal fouls committed by Barca helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Croatian Mario Hezonja (202-1995) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Alberto Abalde (202-1995) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Joel Parra (202-2000) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds for Barca. Very important is a road loss of second ranked Turkish Fenerbahce (17-9) against seventeenth ranked Israeli Maccabi Tel-Aviv (7-20) on Thursday night. Visiting Fenerbahce was defeated by Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Tel Aviv 94-76. It was a great evening for power forward Roman Sorkin (209-1996, college: Oregon) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Jimmy Clark III helped adding 7 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Nigel Hayes-Davis (203-1994, college: Wisconsin) with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Fenerbahce's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Defending Israeli champion moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Virtus. Defending Turkish champion Fenerbahce keeps the second position with nine games lost. M.Tel-Aviv will play against higher ranked ASVEL (#14) in Villeurbanne in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fenerbahce will play on the road against Milano (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

They share it with Monaco and Crvena zvezda. Paris will meet at home Monaco (#6) in the next round. Bayern will play against Crvena zvezda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 27: Zalgiris beat Crvena zvezda on the road 86-80. Milano won against Monaco on its own court 86-80. Bottom-ranked ALBA was outscored by Anadolu Efes in Istanbul 98-73. Virtus were rolled over Olympiacos at home 70-92. Baskonia was defeated by Partizan on the opponent's court 86-73. ASVEL lost to Greek defending champion Panathinaikos in a home game 93-96.
The most impressive performance of 27th round was 24 points and 6 assists by Kendrick Nunn of Panathinaikos.

Crvena zvezda - Zalgiris 80-86

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Lithuanian Zalgiris (13-14) beat 4th placed Serbian Crvena zvezda (16-11) in Beograd
