Emirates has unveiled significant upgrades to its network of flights with new Boeing 777s retrofitted and Airbus A380s with new Premium Economy cabin among major cities including Shanghai, Zurich, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, and Buenos Aires. From October 26, 2025, until early 2026, these upgrades are among the string of steps taken by the carrier to address rising demand in its global network with a better in-flight offering for passengers.

The retrofit program that began in November 2022 has been progressing at a remarkable pace with a complete plane being upgraded every three weeks. As a result of this, 60 aircraft have already undergone this comprehensive nose-to-tail renewal. Emirates’ product upgrade investment translates into passengers across all classes being able to look forward to enjoying the airline’s signature service with even higher comfort and innovation levels, particularly with the introduction of the Premium Economy cabin.

Emirates’ new flight schedules include exciting updates for several popular destinations:

The addition of Premium Economy to Emirates’ fleet is one of the most anticipated upgrades, providing travelers with a superior experience that combines the luxury of Business Class with the affordability of Economy Class. On the retrofitted Boeing 777, the Premium Economy cabin features 24 seats, while the Airbus A380’s Premium Economy section offers 56 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration, located at the front of the main deck.

Each Premium Economy seat offers generous pitch and width for both working and relaxing, making it a perfect choice for travelers seeking extra comfort without the higher cost of Business Class. Features like in-seat charging points, a side cocktail table, and extra space ensure that passengers enjoy an upgraded flying experience throughout their journey.

Emirates’ retrofitted Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft come equipped with state-of-the-art amenities in all cabin classes. The four-class Boeing 777, which operates on key routes including Shanghai and Singapore, features 6 or 8 First Class suites, 38 or 40 Business seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, and 256 Economy seats. The spacious cabins, improved seating, and updated entertainment options ensure a highly comfortable flight experience for all passengers.

The Airbus A380, known for its iconic two-deck configuration, offers an unmatched experience in air travel. Emirates’ A380s have been fitted with premium amenities in First Class, Business Class, and Premium Economy, ensuring that every seat offers maximum comfort. The A380’s generous space is complemented by advanced inflight entertainment systems, exceptional service, and elegant interior design, making it a favorite among travelers.

Despite a dynamic operating environment, Emirates remains committed to ramping up its operations to meet the continued demand from travelers this summer and into the upcoming winter period. By expanding its fleet with retrofitted aircraft and deploying the A380 on high-demand routes, Emirates ensures that its passengers continue to enjoy an elevated travel experience, regardless of the class they are flying in.

The company’s decision to focus on retrofitted airplanes will serve to meet increasing passenger demand for upgraded and comfy in-flight experience. With this expansion, Emirates will be able to cater to their clients in a better manner while remaining one of world leaders inaviation.

Conclusion: Emirates’ Commitment to Innovation and Passenger Comfort Emirates new timetable and upgraded fleets reflect the airline’s consistent efforts to provide passengers with a first-class flying experience. With Premium Economy and retrofitting of Boeing 777s and Airbus A380s in place, Emirates continues to set the bar higher in air travel. With new flight options to Shanghai, Zurich, Milan, and Buenos Aires, passengers can now enjoy a higher level of luxury with a smoother ride and world-class service that continues to redefine flying. With increasing reach and services, Emirates continues to dominate the aviation space in providing travelers with unprecedented options for their flight.
