Diddy Trial Takes Graphic Turn as Jury Privately Views Alleged 'Freak-Off' Videos
The federal trial involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs took a provocative turn Monday as jurors were shown segments of alleged sex tapes referred to in court as “freak-off” videos.
The viewing occurred on day 24 of testimony during an afternoon session, where prosecutors questioned a Department of Justice special agent about locations tied to the alleged events.
The agent confirmed a list of luxury hotels where Diddy allegedly hosted sexual encounters involving singer Cassie and male escorts. To support the testimony, prosecutors played three short clips, each about 11 to 12 minutes long, though jurors were shown just 30 seconds of each. Jurors wore headphones for the private viewing, while attorneys, the public, and press in the courtroom were blocked from both the video and audio.
Despite the restricted access, graphic audio reportedly leaked from the jurors headphones, with moaning and other sexual sounds clearly audible to those in the gallery. The courtroom fell silent, according to sources present, with the atmosphere turning tense and uncomfortable.
The brief but intense moment underscores the sensitive nature of the case, as prosecutors continue to present what they describe as a pattern of sexual misconduct and abuse.
