Juror Falls Ill with Vertigo, Pausing Diddy Trial Amid Shocking Sex Video Evidence
The federal trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs took a sudden pause on Wednesday when a juror reportedly fell ill with vertigo just one day after jurors viewed graphic video evidence central to the prosecution’s case.
On what would have been the 26th day of testimony, Judge Arun Subramanian informed the courtroom that one of the jurors began experiencing symptoms en route and was unable to continue. As a result, proceedings were canceled for the day.
The pause follows an intense stretch in the courtroom, where jurors donned headphones Tuesday to watch approximately 10 minutes of explicit video allegedly depicting Diddy, singer Cassie, and male escorts in sex acts. While the audio was isolated for the jury, moans were reportedly audible throughout the courtroom, leaving spectators stunned.
Brendan Paul, Diddy’s former assistant and the prosecution’s alleged link to drug trafficking operations, had been slated to take the stand Wednesday. Paul has been granted immunity to testify.
With Juneteenth observed on Thursday, the court is scheduled to resume Friday, assuming the juror is able to return.
