Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Phillip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier) has agreed to cover for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) after he beat him within an inch of his life. However, with everyone including the police commissioner pushing, Phillip is going to have to come up with a suspect if he wants them to back off of Xander. Will Phillip throw Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) under the bus by saying it was someone who was after him?

Phillip is the only one who knew that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) was hiding Doug out in her room at the Kiriakis home when Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) kicked him out. Doug give Phillip a bit of his background when all of this happened. Could Phillip use that to help cover for Xander by saying one of those men attacked him?

Phillip needs a fall guy and it would be much better to get Holly in trouble than to be honest about what happened. After all, the men who are after Doug thought he lived with the Kiriakis’ so Phillip could claim it was a case of mistaken identity. Will Phillip pretend that someone actually mistook him for Doug or just thought they were related?

Now that Holly and Ari Horton (Marissa Reyes) are both being threatened by these goons, now would be a great time to blame them for Phillip’s attack. After all, if they are going to start going after people attached to Doug, it would make perfect sense. Could Phillip claiming this actually protect Ari and Holly?

Perhaps these guys will be seen lurking around and get picked up thanks to Phillip’s lie. This could protect not only Holly and Ari but Doug as well. As much as Julie says she wants to get rid of Doug, she still cares about him. Julie would truly be devastated if Doug got hurt even though he stole from her.

Phillip may get in over his head if these guys are as bad as they seem. Phillip could be making himself a target of Doug’s loan shark. Will Phillip end up in more trouble than he bargained for if he points a finger at these professionals? Could these guys actually get their hands on Holly or Ari after Xander brings them into his attack?

These goons may get more than they bargained for if they try to come after someone else. How would they like to run into Xander instead of Phillip if they attacked anyone? Xander was raised as a hitman instead of a Kiriakis. Xander could very easily take out anyone who comes after him. Will Xander take on these goons himself to protect Holly? Could Xander and Phillip concoct this story to cover for Phillip’s attack?
