Cooler air sticks around, and you may need to dodge a few showers on the 4th of July - NewsBreak

Hello there!  The cooler conditions continue into your holiday weekend and the 4th of July itself.  There's also a chance of showers late on Friday.  The heat will return with a vengeance next week.

Your Fourth of July Friday will start with partly cloudy skies, with building clouds as the day goes on.  Highs will be in the  lower 80's with winds between 8 and 13mph.  Could see some gusts if storm clouds reach the Spokane area.  There's a slight chance of evening showers to early Saturday.

Your weekend will stay in the mid to lower 80's, with a return of the 90's Monday.  Tuesday, and into the rest of the week, will be in the mid to upper 90's with plenty of sunshine.

Enjoy your 4th!
