Actor Chevy Chase has been busy in Connecticut recently.
The comedic legend, who starred in the hit movie Caddyshack, showed up unexpectedly at the Canaan-based miniature golf and entertainment venue Caddie Shack over the weekend, surprising the owner and an employee of the attraction.
See a video of the encounter below.
"The Caddyshack Legend himself Chevy Chase stopped by for a dog," the owner wrote on Facebook. "It was an honor and a privilege to meet him. Stop by and try the New 'CHEVY DOG' it's worth the wait."
Caddie Shack was not the only place in Connecticut that Chase stopped at over the weekend.
The actor and his daughter also visited Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, according to a post on the popular orchard's Facebook page.
Chase and his daughter were checking out a mural on the side of a barn at the orchard, painted by his friend, local artist Patrick Ganino. The artist, who specializes on pop culture murals, is planning to redo the Lyman Orchards mural in the near future.
Ganino has painted several murals of Chase, and the two have been friends for the past several years.
In addition to Chase, Ganino's other celebrity clients include Sylvester Stallone, Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman and Post Malone.
