Two titles are on the line during tonight’s UFC 316 event, and one of the matchups has been nearly nine months in the making.

The men’s Bantamweight title is up for grabs in a high-profile rematch between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili. O’Malley lost the title to Dvalishvili in September 2024’s UFC 306, and now they’re set to fight for the title again. Dvalishvili successfully defended his Bantamweight title for the first time in January’s UFC 311.

Ahead of the matchup, O’Malley has reinvented himself with the hopes of winning the title back, giving up vices like social media and marijuana. During the UFC 316 media day, O’Malley said, “I feel like we haven’t got to see me in my prime. This might be the first fight in my prime, but I want to stick around as long as possible, and longevity is on my mind every day.”

The co-headlining event is a fight for the Women’s Bantamweight title. Julianna Peña is the defending champion, but the two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo, Kayla Harrison, has made it her mission to win a UFC title.

The main card for UFC 316 is airing exclusively as a pay-per-view event on ESPN+, so you’ll need both an active ESPN+ subscription and the PPV. The PPV for UFC 316 costs $79.99.

ESPN+ is $11.99/month or $119.99/year; new subscribers who are signing up for UFC 316 will pay either $91.98 (monthly subscription) or $199.98 (annual subscription) today for the PPV plus either one month or one year of ESPN+, respectively.

You can also purchase the UFC 316 PPV by subscribing to the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ Bundle, which gives you access to three streaming services starting at $16.99/month.

If you choose this subscription option, you’ll get access to all three services individually; after signing up, you’ll then have to sign into your ESPN+ account to purchase the PPV for $79.99.

Unfortunately, no. Since the Dvalishvili vs. O’Malley fight is part of a PPV package, you’ll have to buy the PPV to tune in.
