'CoComelon' Videos to Watch on YouTube This Week
We know there is a lot of content on YouTube, and it can be hard to tell which ones are appropriate for your child. So Parents' editors are picking some of the best videos every week that you can feel good about.
For the parents of toddlers who can’t be scheduled with some new activity every moment of the day, the CoComelon YouTube channel is a blessing. Whether you have a job outside the home or you stay at home with your kids, every parent and caregiver needs a break from constantly entertaining an antsy toddler.
Hardly any show is more engaging to kids than CoComelon, and as luck would have it, there are new videos posted to the CoComelon YouTube channel each week. So if you’re rushing between tasks over summer vacation and need the occasional distraction for your clingy kid, or just want to give them a break from the constant activity that seems to come with summer break, parents can rely on CoComelon.
Here, we rounded up the latest videos both kids will love to watch and parents will feel good about letting them watch, while they answer just one more email or finally tackle that pile of laundry.
There is one thing almost every kid loves at one point or another, and that is dinosaurs. Kids are fascinated by these ancient reptilian creatures, and CoComelon taps into that in this song.
The first song teaches little ones to count to 10 with the help of colorful dinosaur friends. The repetitive lyrics, which go “One little, two little, three little dinos…” will have kids singing their first numbers all day long.
There are two dinosaur-themed songs in this video. In the second one, JJ and his friends join Cody at his birthday party—complete with a dinosaur-topped cake. In the accompanying video, the kids pretend to be dinosaurs and they use a sandbox to create their archaeological dig for dinosaur eggs, inspiring kids watching at home to play dinosaur games with their own friends.
As a toddler, one of my daughter’s biggest fears was going to the doctor. That’s why I appreciate this next video in the roundup. It depicts our main character, JJ, as a pretend doctor, giving his friends and family check-ups, while singing “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.”
Not only does this song help kids memorize the names of their body parts through repetition, but it could also make them feel more confident and comfortable at the doctor’s office. With friendly JJ in the role of the doctor, it could inspire you to talk to your toddler about how the doctor is their friend and there to make you feel better.
The songs in this 30-minute video all focus on a puppy named Bingo. The first song is the classic nursery rhyme, “B.I.N.G.O” and in the accompanying video, JJ meets his new pet, and he must patiently learn to play with his new friend.
The rest of the songs also focus on Bingo's new life as JJ’s pet. Themes include learning how to care for a pet, giving Bingo a bath, and taking Bingo on a playdate with his puppy friends. So if your little one is learning how to interact with animals, this playlist could be a good learning tool for your family.
And remember, if your kids need a break from screens, but still love to sing along to the CoComelon songs, you can listen to CoComelon playlists on Spotify. Looking for even more CoComelon content to get excited about? A feature-length CoComelon movie is slated to be released in 2026.
