One of the group’s leaders voiced concerns about the rising number of player injuries and the poor condition of the Pobiman Complex, which is meant to serve as the team’s training ground. He said:

Stay out of the club. We are tired of you. You as an MD, you don’t take care of the team well. When you were coming, you told us you would bring sponsors in three months. Since you’ve been here, everything is disorganised.

Hearts of Oak have had a difficult season, with inconsistent performances and no major silverware in sight. They currently sit sixth on the Ghana Premier League log and have already been knocked out of the MTN FA Cup.

They are chances of winning the league is almost non-existent having accumulated 46 points in 30 games. With only games to close the season, the Phobians are at least 10 points short of the summit.

The fans are hoping a change in leadership can bring fresh energy and direction to the club.
