CAF: Nigerian Referee Makes List For Young Talents Referee Course In Abidjan

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the list of young referees selected to participate in the upcoming course, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Released on Friday morning, the list includes 31 centre referees, 22 assistant referees, 9 Video Assistant Referees (VAR), 6 instructors, 5 CAF staff members, and 3 IT support technicians.

While no Nigerian referee was included in the centre referee category, Muhammad Yakubu has been selected as an assistant referee.

The Young Talents Referee Course will be held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from March 3-6, 2025.
