Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Melvin Pinnick, has made a remarkable return to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Pinnick, who had been out of CAF following his defeat in the last executive committee election, has now been appointed as Special Adviser to CAF President, Patrice Motsepe.
The appointment was announced on Saturday during CAF's executive committee meeting held in Rabat, Morocco, and was immediately ratified.
The new role grants Pinnick the privilege to attend all CAF executive committee meetings.
