BW's Ressler Named OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week For Third Time in Career - D3hoops
Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard/forward (Napoleon) has been named the OAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the first time this season and for the third time in her career.
earns her third career weekly accolade after leading BW to conference victories over Heidelberg University and Capital University. Against Heidelberg, she had a team-high 10 points and added five rebounds and three steals to lead the Jackets to a 82-40 win. In BW's 75-69 overtime victory over Capital, led the team once again with 19 points including five of the team's 12 points in overtime. She also added six rebounds and a game-high five steals against the Comets.
This season, has appeared in and started 21 games and leads the team and is ninth in the OAC with 234 points for an average of 11.1 points per game. She also leads the team and is tenth in the OAC with 32 three-point field goals, and is second on the team and seventh in the OAC with 135 rebounds. also leads the teams in steals with 31 and is tied for fifth in the OAC with 19 blocks. She has also added 31 assists on the year and is shooting 77% from the free-throw line. has recorded two double-doubles this season.
In her career, has appeared in 98 games with 71 starts. She has recorded 830 points, 584 rebounds, 133 assists, 102 steals, and 58 blocks while recording four double-doubles. earned her previous two weekly honors on January 9 and November 13 of 2023. She is a two-time All-OAC selection, a two-time Academic all-OAC honoree, and a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Wednesday, February 12 as they host an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against crosstown rival John Carroll University at 7 p.m. in Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
